The car accident occurred in Bay City Michigan which took the lives of two women Danette DeCorte and Emilee Prime both 19 years old. The crash happened on M-20 near Five mile road in the late evening hours.

Michigan Police report that Emilee Prime was driving a Ford Focus at the time of the accident on M-20 headed west bound when she lost control of the car crossed over the median and hit an oncoming Chevy SUV.  Two passengers in the SUV a woman in her thirties and her 2 year old son were taken to Mid-Michigan Medical Center in and treated for minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation by Michigan police.

Alicia Ann Manigold 23 years old of Niles Township Michigan was killed after a crash with a semi tractor trailer. The accident occurred at South 11^th and Dewitt streets the police report that the roads were ice covered and that there was an indication that she was on her phone at the time of the crash. Police are still investigating the accident but it was reported that a text message was sent around the time of the crash.

The driver of the semi truck Thomas Covault was southbound on South 11^th Street when Manigold apparently lost control of her car on the ice and snow covered roadway and crossed over into the southbound lane and was struck by the truck. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. Covault was not hurt in the accident.

Rachel Diaz a 27 year old Memphis Michigan woman was killed when the car was a passenger in was struck by a tractor trailer. The accident occurred at the Van Dyke and Armstrong intersection Rachel Diaz was in a car with a 28 year old man and two children ages 5 & 9. The car they were in was hit broadside by a tractor trailer truck traveling northbound on Van Dyke.  The man and children were transported to the hospital.

The truck accident is under investigation; the accident appears to be weather related as several inches of snow were on the ground at the time of the accident.

In Michigan Macomb County a 36 year old man was hit by a train. Reports from local police authorities are that as the train’s engineer saw and realized there was a man sitting on the train track he applied the brakes and blew his train whistle, but the main failed to move off the tracks and was struck. The train did stop blocked a road while the accident was investigated by authorities.

Around 8am in Fruitport Township a school bus driving on East Broadway Ave was hit by a car near Romedius St. Police report that none of the children in the bus were injured. However, the driver of the car was transported to a local hospital via ambulance.

According to the authorities the accident is under investigation.

A 19 year old Nathaniel Donelson Jones of Centerville was driving when he struck a semitrailer which was backing out of a driveway. Jones and a 2 year old passenger were in the car when it hit the semi and the vehicle was under the semitrailer.

Jones, a two year old child and Tara Beth Callahan age 20 also of Centerville were all taken to Sturgis Hospital. Callahan was treated and released but Jones remains in critical condition. The child’s condition was not released.

The semi accident is under investigation.

Three vehicles were involved in an accident In Saginaw at North Mason & West Genesee. Police reported that several women were treated with minor injuries at the scene of the accident.

A 37 year old Saginaw woman Jennifer Wurdock who was one of the drivers involved in the crash said that she was involved in a car accident with a a Buick Le Sabra that was attempting to make a turn and after they collided a Chevy then hit her from behind.

The Detroit police reported that two teens dead in a crash which occurred while the car was racing another car in the west side of Detroit close to Dearborn.

The car had as many as five people in the car at the time of the crash they were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Reports are that three of the survivors were hospitalized two of which were in critical condition and one in serious condition.

The names of the two teens killed were not released.

A 33 year old man from Constantine Michigan was seriously injured after his vehicle hit another driver Sunday evening. The accident occurred a little after 8pm at the intersection of Lutz and Featherstone Rd in Constantine Michigan. The driver of the second vehicle was a 26 year old man from Three Rivers.

The Constantine man was first transported to a emergency room in Three Rivers before being move and transported to Borgess Medical Center with critical injuries according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office. The second man from Three Rivers Michigan refused medical treatment.
